Welcome To Greg Springer's Web Page
So, why bedrockstreams.org? I study stream channels carved into rock. My favorite streams are in caves, the jungles of Panama, South Africa, and the Appalachian Mountains. Check out my curriculum vitae (PDF) for insight into my professional life.

My private life is centered on my three kids and a perpetual quest to discover new caves.
I am a geology professor at Ohio University. My interests include flooding, bedrock and mountain streams, paleoclimate, geomorphic responses to climate change, and the impact of Native American cultures on landscapes and ecosystems. I study caves because they can preserve evidence of flooding, climate, and landscape evolution. Sound interesting? Drop me a line - I am always looking for new graduate students.
